We’re revamping our Cricut classes. Now when you take a Cricut class here at The Scrapbook Zone, you will receive a fabulous “Bug Zone” binder, with class handouts and a cartridge handout. It is a place to collect your Cricut information and keep it organized. You will have a quick reference/manual when you need it. If you’ve already taken all of our Cricut classes; No worries. “Cricut Basics”  August 11, September 8
6:30p.m.-8:30p.m. Cost: $20
Learn all the basics, how to take it out of the box, plug it in and turn it on. We’ll go over all the basic functions as well as how to install/change the blade. This class will get you on your way to getting the most out of owning a Cricut. In this class you will receive your Bug Zone binder; it will contain class handouts along with the cartridge handouts for either “George and Basic Shapes” or “Platin School”. (The handout you receive depends on which machine you have.) Instructor: Katie Findling

“Cricut Advanced”  August 19, September 21
6:30p.m.-8:30p.m. Cost: $20
Now that you can use your machine comfortably it’s time to learn some more advanced functions. In this class we’ll go over the Cricut markers, introduce you to the Design Studio program and touch on the new Stamping and Embossing folder capabilities. You will learn how the layering cartridges work and play with the Mickey and Friends cartridge. If this is your first “Bug Zone” class you’ll receive your Binder. Everyone will receive the class handouts along with the Mickey and Friends handout. Instructor: Katie Findling

“Cricut Design Studio Workshop” August 24, September 28
6:30p.m.-8:30p.m. Cost: $20
Let’s learn how to weld titles and shapes together using the Cricut Design Studio program. We’ll go over the basic functions of the program, teach you about “kerning” and “nudging”. This class truly gives you the manual the program is missing. If this is your first “Bug Zone” class you’ll receive your Binder. Everyone will get the class handout, aka: the manual, and a cartridge handout.. In order to attend this class you must have completed our Cricut Advanced class. Instructor: Cindy Phillips

Each month we will be Exploring a different cartridge in The Scrapbook Zone. We’d like to show you all the things your cartridges can do. You’ll make two projects and be shown a variety of other projects we’ve created using the cartridge of the month. When you take this class you will receive a handout with directions for some of the projects we’ve created and the cartridge handout. You’ll also be able to purchase kits for projects we’ve designed using the Bug. These items will be great additions to your Bug Zone binder. We will be showing you everything from layouts to cards to mini books and glass etching. Join us as we go Exploring. **Each student in class will receive a coupon valid for one FREE 7 day rental from our vast Cricut Library, a $10 value.
