Vintage Pages with Laura

  We are excited to offer this  bi-monthly class taught by Laura exclusively in The Scrapbook Zone. Join Laura to complete 3 fabulous one page layouts that are can be used for those older photos and your today photos too. Laura will show you how to make stunning pages with papers, inks, trinkets and more. The layouts taught will change with each class.

Vintage Cards with Laura

Vintage Cards Cost: $20

Join Kelley to create 5 different designs. Each student will leave class with 20 cards. This months theme centers on Easter and Spring cards. Stamping, paper layering, embossing folders and various techniques will be explored in this class. Fabulous Flower Techniques with Laura

Great new flower making technique class is now available in The Scrapbook Zone!

When: Wednesday, March 30, 11a.m.-1p.m.

Cost: $22

Join Laura in this technique rich class. Learn how to make your own beautiful flowers with a multitude of mediums. Flowers are the perfect compliment to pages, cards and mini books. Why not learn to create them yourself from your stash. In this class Laura will show you how to create flowers using grunge paper, crinoline, ribbon, trim, zipper trim and different paper flowers. A display board of flower designs will be in the store shortly.

Here is just a sampling of flowers Laura created to display in the Maya Road booth at CHA Winter. You will make each of these flowers in class! Just think of the possibilities for your pages, cards and mini albums.

Jewelry Creations 2 with Tami Henry

When: Monday, March 14, 11a.m.-1:15p.m. or 6:00p.m.-8:15p.m.
or Thursday, March 24, 11a.m.-1:15p.m. or 6:00p.m.-8:15p.m.

Cost: $25

We've added a new jewelry making class to the schedule for March. We have two dates available, with two time slots offered each day. If you missed out on the first class-no worries. You can jump right in and learn how to make three unique pieces in this class. We've also stocked a selection of items for you to shop from, so you can recreate to your hearts content at home!

In Jewelry Creations 2 you will create three unique projects using alcohol inks with glass and metals, permanent stamp inks on semi precious stones and more. Remember that your projects will be uniquely yours so they may not look exactly as those pictured here. Projects may differ in size and color depending on what supplies are available from the manufacturers.

Project one: This pendant will be a tad smaller than it appears in the picture beads will be included.

Altered Frame and Canvas Transfer Class

We are excited to offer this new class in The Scrapbook Zone. Join Tami to complete two home decor projects in class. A variety of techniques will be shown and done in this class. Try your hand at inking stamping, tearing, distress stains, alcohol inks, metal work and more. In this class you will also learn the step by step process for transferring a patterned paper design to canvas.

In class you will complete this frame 
Along with this canvas piece which will be mounted on foam board and suitable for framing if you'd like.

Supply List needed for class: Paper trimmer, scissors, bone folder or burnisher, small bottle of glossy accents, scor-tape, adhesive of your choice. All of these items are available in the store for purchase on or before the day of class.

New Sentiments Binder Class

Sign up today for this great class with Laura Vigliarolo. This class is on our schedule twice to insure you don't miss out. You've asked for day time classes so we hope you'll join in on the fun with this lovely Sentiment Binder class.

Class Dates:Monday, February 21, 12p.m.-2p.m. or Tuesday, March 8, 12p.m.-2p.m.

Cost:$25 includes all items needed to complete the project.

Join Laura to create a 6x6 two- ring Sentiments Binder. This binder will become a go-to tool, when you are creating your pages and cards and need just the right sentiment. It is set up for you to add to it as you find new favorite quotes, lyrics and quips that you'd like to use when you need them. Laura also explores several techniques in this class, you'll get to try your hand at inking, perfect pearls for that perfect shimmer and using embossing paste to create 3D effects on paper.

Supplies you will need to bring: basic tool kit-paper trimmer, scissors, wet/dry adhesive, foam brush, ruler, black pen, pencil.

Join Tami in this fun and unique class. In class you will complete a cool card  using a pop can, Tim Holtz Texture Fades, alcohol inks and the Sizzix Machine. Seriously, cool technique! Plus, in class we will explore making several pieces of unique jewelry using some fun  inspired paper crafting techniques, stamps and glues. Each student in class will also receive a Free gift from Tami valued at $10.
