            A HUGE STORE CLOSING SALE will begin immediately to LIQUIDATE EVERY SINGLE ITEM of merchandise in our store to include 1000’s of Paper & Sticker Designs, Spellbinders, Stamps, Adhesives, Ribbons, Embellishments, Tools, Kits, Albums, Inks and much more.

            We are CLOSING OUR DOORS FOREVER.  All of our merchandise, store fixtures, furniture and equipment must be sold.

            YOU ARE THE FIRST TO KNOW. We are extending special invitation to our loyal Zone customers and wonderful friends like you to come to our store on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday May 17^th through May 21^st, one week before we publicly announce this sale.

            Only those who receive an invitation are invited. However, feel free to bring a friend or relative who did not receive an invitation as your guest. You will have FIRST OPPORTUNITY to shop and save on our entire inventory before many items are sold out.

            ARRIVE EARLY for the best selection. OUR OPENING IS ON TUESDAY, MAY 17^th AT 10:00 a.m. SHARP! We may not have finished placing sale tags on all merchandise. But, if you have your invitation we will extend a SPECIAL DISCOUNT to you and your guests on any items in the store that have not already been marked down.

            A FANTASTIC PRIZE DRAWING is part of this sale.             This sale is initiated after many prayers and careful consideration. It is our way of thanking you for your business and friendship while at the same time accomplishing our goals. We enjoyed 9 great years helping you preserve your memories, it is now time for us to pursue new career paths and focus on our family. You will still see us in our booth at several Scrapbook Shows in the area and we plan to host large crop events at a local hotel several times per year.

Due to the magnitude of this event any previously advertised prices, loyalty coupons, Mega Meet coupons, postcards and special offers are discontinued. Zone Gift Cards and Store Credits will be honored thru June 9^th, 2011.

Store moving progress report!

In two weeks from today, we will open in our new home located at 27889 Orchard Lake Rd. It's bittersweet and so exciting at the same time. We've made so many memories in our current space and those will be with us for our lifetimes. We are looking forward to a bright future. Where we can make many more memories and friends in our new home. I thought I'd share a few peaks into the new store. It's coming along with the help of dear friends and our awesome staff. The painting will be done this week, the aisle runs will be up by the weekend and Friday 1/29 will be here before we know it. We've also got an army of volunteers set up to help us move and reset the store. Our customers ROCK!

Please spread the word to all of your scrapping and stamping friends about our new home! We hope to see you soon.

The 3/50 Project-What it is and how you can help.

Kevin and I are supporting this movement. We believe in it and not only because it will help our business thrive/survive in the recession. We're entrepreneurs at heart and we know what it takes to risk everything to work toward making the dream of building a business a reality. There are many "mom and pops" out there just like us who need your support now more than ever. So when you're out and about and stopping for coffee think of the quaint local coffeehouse before running into the mammoth chain, or go to your local florist to order before spending your money on-line for your flower purchase. Visit The Scrapbook Zone or your local scrapbook store before hitting the big box or shopping on-line. Chances are you'll find a better selection and price. Read on about the 3/50 project. It just takes $50 per month spent locally in your community to support the movement and better our communities.

New Summer Hours beginning June 1, 2009

 

Beginning June 1, 2009 we will close at 8:00p.m. Monday thru Thursday during the Summer months. We will remain open until 9:00p.m. if we have a class with attendees in session. Please call ahead to check if we will be open past 8:00p.m. We will be open on Friday from 10:00.am.-11:00p.m. and Saturday/Sunday 10:00a.m.-6:00p.m.

Exciting changes in The Zone.

Hello there! We wanted to post about some exciting stuff going on in the store! First we are excited to be home from CHA winter. I spent 3 days walking and ordering lots of products on the show floor. There will be plenty of new products arriving over the next several months. Some new stuff is already here-come in and check it all out.

We also wanted to let folks know that on 2/1/09 we will be downsizing the store. After much discussion with our landlord, each other and praying we decided that it was time to stop paying for the additional space. It was not cost effective any longer. We felt that it was more important to use the extra money saved to buy more products for the store. That equates to about $5,000+ per month we will now be able to spend to stock the store. We will indeed have a classroom albeit a smaller one. It will seat comfortably 32 instead of 64. Come in and check it out! We love the new look.

We are sad about this change, but we are also excited about it. Our motto is we will be victors of this economic downturn not casualties and this will help us to do so. We hope you'll respect our decision and continue to support us for many more years to come!

We anticipate that the newest collection from Scenic Route Appleton will be here by the end of this week or early next week. Keep checking the blog and your email for Zone updates.

The newsletter has been proofed and is being printed and mailed shortly. Be on the look out for it to hit your mailboxes soon. As always to save on postage we mail our Zone mini magazine using the bulk rate. This can and does slow down delivery time. If you don't get your newest addition and you know you used one of your Zone Loyalty coupons by July 15. Please come in and pick up your copy. Remember if you'd like to view what we have in store for the next three months you can download a copy to read online.
